Performers: 

Jared Denhard – Musician Extraordinaire  and  Harper Denhard

Celtic harper, storyteller, highland piper, ukulele virtuoso and trombonist. Jared Denhard is currently a member of the Celtic rock band O’Malley’s March, the Baltimore Jazz Orchestra, the medieval jazz group Keltia, and the early music ensemble The Boar’s Head Consort.
He is also the leader of the uke driven super group, Big J and the Mainlanders.

A popular performer at Celtic, classical, and jazz events in the Mid-Atlantic region. Jared has performed as soloist on the highland bagpipes with the Delaware Symphony Orchestra, the Baltimore Municipal Band, and the Lexington Brass Quintet.
Jared is also an active composer whose works have been performed and recorded by the United States Air Force Band, The Kinetics Dance Theater, the London Portable Harp Company and the Annapolis Brass Quintet. Jared is a 1989 graduate of the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore Maryland.


Harper Denhard -- Soloist
Harper just completed her junior year at St. Mary's College of Maryland, where she frequently performs as a soloist with the College Chamber Singers and The Nightingale Acapella.  She performs often in the Baltimore/Washington area, and has sung in concert with the Baltimore Jazz Orchestra, Keltia, the Baltimore Victorian Consort, and as a soloist at the Alba Music Festival in Italy.  She has also performed in several musical theatre productions in Howard
County, including "Over Here", "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Grease", and "Pippin."  She has recorded on five of Jared Denhard's CDs.   In her free time, she loves seeing theatre, reading, writing, spending time with family and friends, and working with children.  She is currently pursuing a degree in Human Studies with a minor in music, and hopes to be an elementary school teacher and continue performing after graduating.
